I decided to start setting up better tracking of user behaviors and user workflows and over the course of a few months highlighted the parts of the system that users really used, vs those that Product told us they used. My suspicion was correct and our Product Experts' view of the system was skewed based on only the things that clients complain about, rather than the parts that clients use more of but "just work".

This data now leads every conversation we have about prioritizing future enhancements and features.
